The Grieg Society of Japan

The Grieg Society of Japan was established by Mr.Ohtsuka, who has promoted and popularized Nordic music for many years. The Society was founded on Grieg’s birthday, June 15th, 1996. Anyone who loves Grieg’s music or is interested in Nordic music can apply for membership. Members will be granted invitation to concerts or events supported by the society. Furthermore, the society issues bulletins or research publications for members, besides supporting performers who play Edvard Grieg’s music. The Grieg Society of Japan aim to spread, enlighten and study Grieg’s music continuously.
