The Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Bratislava in cooperation with the International Edvard Grieg Society (IGS) organized very successful GRIEG DAYS on November 11, 12 and 18, 2015. The program included masterclasses with the singer Beryl Foster, the pianist Einar Røttingen and the violinist Ricardo Odriozola, a concert by the lecturers, a musicological seminar with Professor Patrick Dinslage, the pianist Heide Görtz, the researchers Wojciech Stępień and Mária Eckhardt, as well as a concert by students from the Academy.
In 2016, a rich illustrated anthology with the lecturers’ papers and photos from the event will be published. It will be in Slovakia the first comprehensive collection of texts about Edvard Grieg.
